Our loving wife, mother, grandma, daughter, sister and friend, Amber Rae Giles, 39, passed away on July 15, 2019 in Wendover, Utah.

She was born on December 20, 1979 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Steve Kofford and Wendi Steele Kofford. She grew up in West Valley City, Utah and later married Ricky Jr Giles on March 6, 2015.

She graduated from The Hair Academy, fulfilling her passion for cutting and styling hair. She enjoyed being in the outdoors, fishing, hiking and camping. She had a love for all animals and any stray pet. She worked as a substitute teacher for Wendover High School.

Amber was a people person. She was the life of the party and would laugh the hardest at her own jokes. She loved her family deeply especially her children and granddaughter. They were her world. She will be remembered by her beautiful smile and contagious laugh.

Amber is survived by her loving husband, Ricky Giles; Children: Justin his wife Shelby Garbett, Chelsey Garbett, Kobee Garbett; her parents Steve Kofford and Wendi Steele Kofford, step father, Robert Kelsch; siblings, Robert Kelsch, Shantell Christopherson and Alex Kofford; granddaughter, Henlee Mae Garbett.

Preceded in death by her grandmother, Diana Kelsch and her grand dad, Darrell Kofford.

A graveside service for Amber will be held on Saturday, July 20, 2019 at 12:00 noon at the Valley View Memorial Park, 4400 West 4100 South in West Valley City, Utah

My memory of Amber is she loved Holiday .
We would have our holiday family party and she would call me a day or two before the party and ask me if I am have pumpkin pie for desert, I would laugh and say yes Amber we are and I am buying a big one. She would laugh, and say that my favorite . She was a silly girl and she was life of the party . She would always make us laugh!! 😆 we love you! ❤️💖

Im so sorry to hear about Ambers passing. She was such a beautiful person and I will cherish all the amazing memories and trouble we caused. We were inseparable for so many years I wish I could have been there more for you.. This isnt goodbye only a see you later
