Amos James Pacheco was unexpectedly taken from us on March 5, 2010. Amos was born in Salt Lake City on September 25, 1984 to Michelle Garcia Flores and Rick Pacheco. Amos was a loyal Oakland Raiders fan, he enjoyed watching football with friends and family and defending his team, win or lose. Amos loved hunting, fishing, camping and spending time with his family. Amos dedicated his life to his children.
Amos is survived by his two children, Elena and LeoMax; his mother, Michelle Garcia Flores, his step-father, Aldofo Flores and his father, Rick Pacheco; his brothers, Tavy and Dino; his grandparents, Telesforo and Esther Garcia, Ruby Pacheco, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and godchildren. Amos also leaves behind the mother of his children, Latoya Footracer, and the love of his life, Ana Torres. Amos is preceded in death by his grandfather, Leo Max Pacheco and cousins, Alejandro Renteria and Patrice Wayman.
Mass of Christian Burial for Amos will be held Friday, March 12, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 4501 West 5215 South, Kearns. A viewing will be held on Thursday, March 11th at 6:30 p.m. with a Holy Rosary at 7:30 p.m. A viewing will be also held one hour prior to the services at the Church on Friday. Interment: Valley View Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Amos’s name at the University Federal Credit Union.
