Annette Overton, age 68, of Taylorsville, Utah, passed away on July 6, 2026. Born in Salt Lake City, Utah, on August 4, 1957, to Joan Smith and Richard Brown, she graduated from Kearns High School. Annette built a dedicated career through customer service at American Express and later in healthcare manufacturing.
Known for her shimmering smile and contagious laughter, she was a very talented artist who loved painting, drawing, ceramics, and holiday decorating. She frequently competed at the Utah
State Fair. She was also a skilled self-taught veterinarian who lovingly cared for her dogs. Annette was married to Wendell Overton for over 40 years.
She is survived by her son, Jason; wife, Leslie; grandsons Cameron, Kody, and Kyle and his wife, (Brynlee); granddaughter Taylor; husband, (Andy); and her brothers, Rick, wife Tammy, and Randy.
Annette is preceded by her Husband Wendell who passed earlier this year and her daughter, Shanna who passed in 1997.
A celebration of life will be held September 18, 2026, at Valley View Memorial Park and Funeral Home in West Valley City at 11 a m with food served. A graveside service is to follow at the same location.
