April 23, 1975 - January 28, 2016.April Gummersall Trottier - West Valley CityHeavenly Father called home one of His choicest daughters on Thursday, January 28, 2016. April Jean Gummersall Trottier left this world unexpectedly to be reunited with her daddy and other loved ones, she will be greatly missed. April was born April 23, 1975 to Leon and Hilda Gummersall of Grace, Idaho. She grew up in Grace and graduated high school there. She went to Ricks College, Boise State, Idaho State and U of U to further her education. She married Duiane Trottier in the Jordan River Temple on February 28, 2003. Later they were blessed with four beautiful children who were the loves of her life; Mathew, Samantha, Abigail, and Joseph. She worked at Deseret Book for most of her married life and enjoyed it there. She willingly served her Heavenly Father in her many callings in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.Her hobbies included reading book after book, engaging in good conversation and tackling household improvements. She loved spending time with her husband and children. She also enjoyed being with her extended families. April was preceded in death by her father Aaron Leon Gummersall, her in-laws, Ray and Carol Trottier, her nephew Nicholas Gummersall, and brother R.L. Gummersall. She is survived by her husband Duiane Trottier; sons, Mathew and Joseph; daughters, Samantha and Abigail; mother, Hilda Pearson Gummersall; brothers; Elliott, Clay, Jeff, Will; sisters, Tamara, Amy, Holly; and in-laws, nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held Thursday February 4 at 11:00 a.m. at the LDS Stake Center on 3900 S. 4000 W. in West Valley City, Ut.
