

Our hero, our hardworking, loving, devoted father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle, brother & friend departed this earth on February 1, 2021. He was born to Walter Lee Storer & Ruby Elenora Priest Storer in Idaho Falls, Idaho on September 23, 1937. He has several siblings that will miss him very much. He graduated from Idaho Falls High School in 1957. Arland served proudly in the United States Air Force.
He worked in the auto industry for many years doing auto body repair & ended up moving to Salt Lake City for a job at Capitol Chevrolet. He later worked at Duane Brown Chevrolet & retired from Allstate Insurance. Dad could fix anything & was an amazing example of how to be a good person with a great work ethic.
He met the love of his life, Linda Williams in May 1963 in the apartment building that they both lived in at the time. They were married December 28, 1963 in Elko, Nevada and the marriage was later solemnized in SLC Temple.
Arland & Linda were blessed with 3 incredible children Darren (Linda), Kris Chavez, Douglas (Christine), 5 fabulous grandchildren- Zachary Pangos, Tayler Lloyd, Janessa Chavez, Joshua Bradshaw-Storer, Kaylee Storer. One extraordinary great grandson, Rayden. Also survived by his siblings Melva (Lee) Liberatore, Jean (Mikey) Cunningham, Shirley Burt, Ferrell Storer & sister in law Gerlinde Storer. Preceded in death by his mother, father, brother Lowell, sister Anita Dawn & our beautiful mother, Linda.
To honor Arland’s memory, there will be a viewing on Monday February 8, 2021 from
1:30 pm to 2:30 pm followed by a graveside services at 3:00 pm at Valley View Memorial Park and Funeral Home, 4335 W. 4100 S. West Valley City, Utah 84120
A Celebration of Life for both of our parents will be held at a later date. Time and date to be announced soon.
