My love and sympathy to the entire Foster family. Barrie. And I shared the love of music. I remember one time in the car Barrie, Patty and I was going somewhere music blasting. Now anyone that knows me knows i cant carry a tune but would sing anyways. I was sitting in the back seat and Barrie extended his his arm and hand having it look like a microphone telling me sing it carolyn. We all laughed. I remember i was always around never feeling like the 3rd wheel. Barrie was my brother and i will miss him dearly.

Bear, you were always there for me whether teaching me to drive in your 67 firebird or giving me a place to stay during rough times. Some of my fondest memories are when we would play softball, tennis, shoot hoops and playing pool. However, my favorite memory would be when I had my long farrah faucet hair and I'd flip it back out of my eyes and you would look at me and do the same with your fro and then start laughing. Such a great laugh. Thanks for being both a brother and a father to me

Love and prayers to the whole family, Barrie was one of the nicest guys I ever met!!
I remember years ago I watched little Brooklynn, she was just a baby and my niece Brianna had never seen a colored person before in her short life (she was 8). Barrie came to the door to pick up Brooklynn and it was my first time meeting him in person, Brianna looks up at him and says "Wow are you really black" and Barrie looks down at her and says " yes I am do you want to feel my skin" she was so nervous but she sure did!! Barrie was such a trooper and was so good to her & her brothers (of course, I was so embarrassed and kept apologizing) but Barrie didn't seemed to mind at all!! I will never forget him and how nice he was to me and my hubby. My deepest condolences to the whole family and I love you all!

I remember going over to Deanna’s to play and hangout and we would always be going through all his music cd’s because he was the “ cool Dad “ that had all the good music. He was always smiling and happy and always kind and made everyone feel welcome. He was a wonderful man ❤️
