Brooklynn Edelle James

Brooklyn Edelle James, miracle baby and infant daughter of Boyce Edward and Trishelle James, returned to her heavenly home on Tuesday, October 22nd, 2019. Brooklyn brought joy and happiness to all who knew her. She radiated strength, leaving life lessons in every footstep.

In her brief 22 months, she faced many challenges, but she faced them with a fearlessness that was truly inspiring. We loved her for her monster hair, her free spirit, and her huge and unconquerable soul. She earned the wings she now uses to fly—she was our little fighter, and she will be sorely missed.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her sisters, Deshaun, Morrisa, and Brynlee; her brother Matthew; grandparents, LaWayne Reeve, Boyce Edward James Sr., and Owen and Teresa Denison; and many other relatives and friends who loved her very much. Brooklyn was preceded in death by her great grandparents, Floyd and Carmond Ferrin; her uncle, Bryson Emil James; and her grandmother, Sandra James.

Services will be held Monday, October 28th, 2019 at 11:00 a.m., at Valley View Memorial. Interment will follow at Valley View Cemetery. Friends and family are invited to gather at Valley View Memorial at 10:00 a.m. for a viewing and to celebrate her life.
