We on the TRAX will miss Carl very much.  He always had a smile and a Good Morning for everyone.  We will miss you!

As others have said before, Carl was a valued member of our Community at the College of Nursing. We will miss him.

I, like many others, knew Carl from the University of Utah College of Nursing. I remember I used to tease him about how he worked harder than I did (which he did!) and how hard it was to choose loyalties between the U and BYU (not.....). Always a smile, always willing to help. My love and sympathy to his family and friends.

Carl's work and attitude was much appreciated by us here at the College of Nursing.  He is missed.

I always appreciated Carl, his dedication to his work here at the College of Nursing and more than that, his smile and positive influence every day. We miss him.

Carl was, without fail, faithfully cleaning the floors by my work area every morning when I arrived.  He was diligent and pleasant, and always smiled and said hello when spoken to.  I missed him immediately that morning, and thought perhaps he had taken a day off since it was Spring Break.  How very sad to hear of his sudden death!  

I want to thank whoever loved and raised Carl; the time and special attention given to him was evident.  Thank you for sharing him with us.  He will be very much missed!

Rest in peace Carl.  It was always the best part of my morning to say hello to you.

You will be missed.

Everyone bowled a frame for you today in your memory. We really miss our Strike King being there. Condolences to Mary, I know how much you love Carl and that he loved you and was very lucky to have a caring friend like you.

Thank you for being a part of my life.  For years you greeted me each morning with a smile.  I will miss our simple conversations, your positive attitute and chuckle when we talked about the "Utes" or weekend plans.  Your dedication to work is a tribute to all.

Carl had a ready smile every morning that started my day off right!  His quick shy smile, dedication and quiet presence will truly be missed.  It was such a pleasure to have Carl be a daily part of our lives.

Carl and I worked together in the College of Nursing. He was very dedicated to his work and still took the time to be friendly and say, "Hello." I often found myself riding the elevator with Carl. He would tell me about his day, always with a big smile. 

To Carl's Family & Friends: May you hold each other close at this time of loss, and know that Carl did important work while he was here.  

To Carl: Thank you for your hard work. May you now rest in peace.

I was blessed to briefly know Carl. I am grateful to have shared good mornings, many hellos & talks while working at the College of Nursing. Carl's, kind hi, smile and friendly energy will be deeply missed.

Carl, you were an amazing spirit!  Seeing your smile was enough to make the rest of my day go well! I know you from the College of Nursing; as well as from a previous place of employment, so I know you are going to be missed by many.  Thank you for making such a positive impact on my life!

Carl was the first person to greet me on 3rd floor of the College of Nursing each day. He was a daily reminder of the joy that if found in striving to do your best and greeting each day as a gift. May he know the fullness of eternal life that he richly desires.

We will miss Carl very much. He was very conscientious and considerate. He was a true University of Utah fan.

Carl made a difference in my life.  When I came to work at the College of Nursing I got to know him and his shy smile and upbeat attitude.  The pleasure of seeing Carl take pride in his work reminded me that I enjoy my job, as well.  I'm thankful to have worked with Carl.  He made my day better many, many times.  I miss him already.

Carl worked at the College of Nursing at the "U". Always decked out in full Ute regalia, he enjoyed talking about any UofU team and was a true supporter of the "U".  He was a hard and careful worker.  We will all miss him here at the CON.
