Carol Dianne Hathaway passed away on July 18, 2023 due to complications with cancer. She was born December 14, 1945, in Bakersfield, California to Harvey Adolph Unruh and Mamie Jean Howell. She met her husband, Bob, in 1971, in Bakersfield and raised a beautiful daughter, Lori.
Carol worked as security at a middle school in Palmdale, California for 7 years. She loved working with the youth at her church, which she did for most of her life in California. Carol and Bob moved to Salt Lake City, Utah in 2004 when Bob retired so they could care for his mother until she passed away July 30, 2016.
Carol was always outgoing and once you met her, you immediately loved her. She will be dearly missed.
Surviving relatives include her husband: Robert Lynn Hathaway; daughter: Lori Ann Druskin; siblings: Wanda Jean Gott, Janet Gail Nery; grandchildren: one.
Services will be held Tuesday, July 25, 2023, at 7960 West Dalesend Drive, Magna, Utah, 84044. A viewing will take place at 10:00 AM followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 AM.
