Caroline Jensen

Our dear mother, Caroline C Jensen, age 85, passed away, peacefully, at her Kearns home, after a courageous battle with Alzheimer’s.

Carol was born and raised in South Salt Lake, to Caroline Julia Rushton and Ernest Lowell Cook. She attended Granite High School. Carol was most proud of her heritage, having corralled her children, many a time, to the ‘Rushton’ family reunions, often, being the first ones there, and the last ones to leave.

Carol enjoyed all types of gardening, her pets, and her many lifelong cherished friends.

Carol is survived by her sister: Lola Julia Jensen, Hayden, ID; daughter: Penny Caroline Sheridan (Monty), Hanna WY; sons: Scott Lowell Jensen (Cathy), Stagecoach NV; and K Bradford Jensen (Pam), West Jordan, UT, along with eight grandchildren: Jeremy, Shannon, Shanell, Caroline, Lynsie, Landon, Taylor, and Micheal. Carol was preceded in death by a son; Michael Arthur Poor.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 25, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. with a viewing from 10:00-10:45 a.m., at the Kearns First Ward Building, located at 4270 West 5700 South. A viewing will be held Tuesday, February 24, 2015, from 6-8, at the same location.
