Our most beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister and Friend to many was surrounded and embraced by her family with love as she slipped through the Veil on July 27, 2021 at age 62 hand in hand with her eternal love.
Cathie was born on July 17, 1959 in Murray, Utah to Tony LaRell Vance and Carma Darlene Woolsey and was a resident of West Valley City, Utah at the time of passing.
She fought an extremely long hard battle with multiple health issues including Addison’s as well as problems with her heart before she fell ill with Covid Pneumonia. Despite all of her trials and tribulations she always had a smile on her face and a giggle in her voice… oh how we will miss that giggle!
Cathie was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, always in tune with the spirit. Cathie had a great love for her Savior Jesus Christ and her Heavenly Father. She loved her callings in Sunday school, Nursery, and in the Primary for the Hunter 20th Ward.
She graduated from Kearns High School in 1977 and attended Salt Lake Community College before devoting her life to being a full time Mother and Wife. She also enjoyed working as a sales clerk for Mervyn’s and ZCMI.
Cathie loved to travel and loved nature but was more of a “glamper” type. Passionate about family history and completing genealogy. She was quite the historian who enjoyed researching her ancestors and sharing their stories with the family.
She was an amazing writer, creating wonderful photo collages, an avid researcher in understanding her medical conditions, and loved to paint in her early years.
Survived by her eternal husband and her best friend, Keith Marlow Biesinger, married on October 3rd, 1980, then sealed to her family in the Salt Lake Temple on November 25, 1987. Son, Corey LaRell Biesinger (Jenny), Daughter, Cathie Christene Asay (Jason), 13 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren.
Cathie will also be dearly missed by her loving sisters, Laura Michelle Vance Thayer (Scott) Cristel Dru Vance (Tyler) and Tonya Darlene Baker (Eric), all the Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews along with both her cats, Sparky and Sugar.
Preceded in death by her loving Mother, Father, grandparents, and her son Michael, who never took a breath here on earth.
Our hearts will ache and you will be missed ‘Till we meet again.
Viewing will be held on August 6th, 2021 from 6 to 8 pm and August 7th, 2021 from 10 to 11 am.
