Millcreek City, Utah, on an overcast morning on Friday, December 30 at 9:00 AM, Cheryl Eileen Whittaker Kruger ended her mortal journey while sitting in her favorite lazy girl recliner in the company of her devoted husband of 43 years, Patrick.

Cheryl married Patrick Earl Kruger of San Francisco on August 3, 1979. Pat and Cheryl never had any children of their own but were blessed in many other ways. They traveled extensively. Maui was their favorite destination.
Cheryl’s first job as a teenager was candling eggs in Sugarhouse. She progressed to the grocery business, then to a position as Pharmacy Tech for Rite Aid for 17 years, then back to Smith’s Supermarket for another 15 years. Cheryl earned many customer service awards. She was an excellent cook and her holiday fruit cakes and fruit pizzas are legendary.
Cheryl was a compassionate nurse to her 94 year old father (deceased) and 95 year old mother (doing well) prior to her passing. She was a generous caregiver to all family members or friends in need.
Cheryl is survived by her husband, mother, siblings: David (Sherri), Dennis (Connie), Lynnette Deluyck, Holly (Fred Marquardson), and Susan (Mike Windley). A poem of Remembrance:
We won’t forget our days with you, your memory will not leave our view.
For you have changed our lives you see, and in our hearts you’ll always be.
Your love is our greatest prize . . . it warms our hearts like summer skies.
In darkest moments of the night, your love brings us a guiding light.
And now we see through all our tears, we’ll never lose you through the years.
No matter what . . . We’ll never part, for we have locked you in our hearts.
May Cheryl rest in peace.
