Claudia Leigh Todd

Claudia Leigh Crockett Todd, at the age of 80 years old, passed away in the early morning of July 11th, 2026. Claudia was surrounded by love, family, and friends at her home of over 48 years in West Valley City, Utah. She is the firstborn of 4 children to Vernon Walter Crockett Jr. and Marjorie Cedarlund Carson on July 17th, 1945, in Berkeley, Ca.

Growing up in Hayward City Ca, Claudia graduated from Sunset High School. Then later while attending nursing school, Claudia met the love of her life at a close friend’s birthday party. William Fredrick Todd and Claudia had a whirlwind courtship and were married less than 6 months after, on September 9th, 1967, in the Oakland Ca LDS Temple.

Both of whom lived a life of service and giving to others for 57 years together. Claudia has held various callings at church. She loved her Savior. Claudia prayed daily for all of her children and following generations to know their Savior.

Claudia has had many projects in her life. Teasing and caring for her siblings, music, dancing, photos, painting, sewing, crocheting, knitting, crafting, cooking, Cub Scout leader, teaching others how to do all the above-mentioned.

Claudia worked for First Security / Wells Fargo Bank (merged) for an income, where she made some lifetime friends. But Claudia’s first priority has always been her husband, 6 children, and extended family members.

Claudia is preceded by her parents, step father Frank Carson, brother David Crockett, sister Kathleen Bogue, husband and companion William.

Claudia is survived by her youngest sister, Leslie Cain (Steven), her children: Debra Itabashi (Naoto), Stephanie Peake (Jeffrey), Lori Williams, Roy Todd (Jessica), Carl Todd, and Michael Todd. Along with 19 grandchildren and 15+ great-grandchildren.

Viewing will be Friday, July 24th from 7:00pm-9:00 p.m.

Visitations will be Saturday, July 25th from 10:00 a.m. - 10:45 a.m.

Services will be held on Saturday, July 25th, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. - Noonish
