I was just thinking of you today.  Hard to believe it’s been four years in some ways  it seems like yesterday     Miss you so very much but I can see that you had enough suffering and it was time to go.     Wish you would tell us what to do with mom I worry everyday about her safety I just don’t want her to be alone if she falls.     Dad I love you and wish we could talk again even if for a minute

Two years dad.........we sure do miss you.
You were in my dream the other night and it was so nice to see your face and hear your voice again.  Went fishing at Potters this summer, and just had to smile when Adam caught a fish on your pole.  I still see us having a picnic in the parking lot.
I told you you would always be remembered, and you are.  You are still so much a part of us and the things we do.

Well you have been gone for two long years people say it gets better with time but I question that statement  hard to put into words how much I miss you  sometimes it seems like yesterday other times like now it feels like forever think about you often think of some of the silly things things you would say to the kids and I find myself saying them and then I think that's weird  just think about you a lot love you

Ah Dad, You added a new great granddaughter today.  Walking down the hall at the hospital, I could hear your voice and you teasing Adam about a daughter. And teasing me too about a girl..I smiled and cried.  Miss you!!  Thanks for watching over us and this special new angel.

Dad happy birthday hard to believe you would have been 90 years old.  Can't believe how much I miss you, it seems like everything I do,I am reminded of you helping or being there doing it with us.  Camping is so,hard to do, without you and boating just feels wrong to do without you. Just wanted you know that we love you and miss you

Dad went fishing over the weekend and couldn't help thinking of all the times we were fishing together you getting so excited when I did catch a fish miss you especially this weekend brought back a flood of memories of you

Merry Christmas Dad.  We sure are missing you.  I miss discussing three card poker and tv programs with you.  The ridiculas and the ones we actually learned things from.  I miss sharing your snacks and trying to decide what you might like for dinner.  Most of all, I miss hearing "love you back". 
We are doing our best to look after Mom.  Thanks for the messages.  Mom found the note from 2003 and I like to think it was a Christmas present for her.  
I hope you like your tree and decorations.  It has a little something from everyone.

Aunt Bertha & Family,
   I will always cherish the time that Uncle Pete took us to Heber, to the farm, in the blue Station Wagon.  The one you could sit facing the traffic following you.  Oh we had so much fun.  We arrived so fast!!!   He was a wonderful Uncle and I will always cherish the memories of coming to the Petersen house when I was young.    Thanks for the Memories!!!!   Elder & Sister Rasmussen ( Elvin & Tena's daughter Chris) Wished we could have been there. Our condolences to you all.

Pete I will miss the times that we had together and cherish the memories. You where like a father to me. I will never forget you or the love you gave to me. I love you and miss you more than you will ever know. Take care up there.....Love Eddie
