Mr. David R Meza left us on February 9, 2025, to be with his wife Elia Cabrera. Born February 22, 1929, in Kingsville, Texas. He was the youngest of seven and moved to San Diego California to work with the US Navy civil service until he retired at the young age of 70.
Father of four children: David (Leslie), Dariel, Dwayne (Chris) Spouse Caroline, Deborah (John).
Grandchildren: Emily, Christine, Micah, Jacob, Jonathan, Danell, Jeremy, and Danessa; three great grandchildren: Alyssa, Tucker and Magnolia.
He was an alumnus at Texas AI and graduated with a bachelor's degree in chemistry and a minor in math. He was very involved in the Catholic Church at Our Lady of Guadalupe in Chula Vista, California where he served as a Grand Knight for the Knights of Columbus. He loved to barbecue for his family every Sunday, loved to go out fishing and loved to work in his yard. Even at the young age of 90, he will be greatly missed by all who knew him. May he rest in peace.
