David Wayne Neilson

Our big-hearted Son, Daddy, Brother and Friend, David Wayne Neilson, age 31, was taken from us too soon on January 1, 2014 in Hurricane, Utah.

David was born April 26, 1982 in West Valley City, Utah, to David R. Neilson and Grace Gibson. David loved spending time with his son, playing basketball, hanging out with his family and his friends. He liked drawing and going up to the mountains. We Love You “Balla” and we will miss your face! David is survived by his son, Dominick Adamson Neilson; parents, Grace Gibson and David R. Neilson; siblings , MaryAnne Gibson Huffman, Ernie Gibson, Misty Neilson, Alexandra Neilson, and Adam Farnsworth; 6 nieces and 3 nephews, and grandmother, Florence Neilson. He is preceded in death by Danny Boyd Gibson, Dorris McDonald and Dale Neilson. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations be made in David’s name at any U.S. Bank.

Funeral Services will be held Monday, January 13, 2014 at 12:00 noon at Valley View Funeral Home, 4335 West 4100 South. The family will receive friends at a visitation from 10 until 11:45 a.m. Monday prior to the service. Condolences may be sent to the family @valleyviewfuneral.com.
