Dawna Lea Gallegos

Dawna was born March 25th 1959 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Ronald Lea Chapman and Stella Rose Chapman and was the oldest of 4 siblings. She graduated from Granger High School, class of 1977 and in the Summer of 1977 she met the love of her life and forever partner Randy Lee Gallegos. She was a beloved teacher, business partner, daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, cousin and friend.

She is survived by her siblings, her husband, her children, her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Dawna loved her lord and savior Jesus Christ, loved her family immediate and extended and loved to love unconditionally. She loved because she was loved, she forgave because she was forgiven and she always gave freely of herself to anyone in need. She took joy in being a wife, mother and grandmother but nothing brought her more joy than being the grandma to and best friend of her princess Emery Snow!

Celebration of life service will be held at Life Church Utah, 3818 w 4700 s, Salt Lake City, UT 84129, Thursday December 9th at 10:00am followed by entombment at Valley View Memorial Park, 4400 w 4100 s, West Valley City, UT 84120.
