Debbie Grace Haggard

Our beloved mom, grandma and friend passed away unexpectedly on November 17, 2020. She was born to LeRoy and Grace Shiflett on September 18, 1954, in Salt Lake City. She married the love of her life, Robert, on October 25, 1974.

Debbie was an amazing, strong, but also an incredibly stubborn woman. Caring so much for her family she would often go without to give to them. A successful entrepreneur Debbie created and ran two successful businesses before taking a position in local government. She loved movies, books, and puzzles to pass the time. She also had an affinity for the color purple. So dedicated to her children she would work all night into the early morning and would still make time to be involved in their school activities.

Survived by her two children, Carrie (Jared) and Michael (Krystal); two grandchildren, Chanda and Chandler; and great-grandchild, Cheralyn.

Graveside services will be held Monday, November 23, 2020, 1:00 p.m. at Valley View Memorial Park, 4400 West 4100 South, West Valley City, Utah. A viewing will precede services from 11:30-12:30 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road.
