1941-2012
Our loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend Delcie Hymas , West Valley City, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 5th. She was born on August 26, 1941 in Twin Falls, Idaho and married Doyle J. Hymas on April 14, 1961 in the Logan Temple. She was the mother of 5 and grandmother of 22.
She lived a life of Christ-like service, sacrifice, love and humility. She was a faithful member of the L.D.S Church who understood the power of prayer and fasting. She served in many callings, including being a devoted visiting teacher. She was a kind, fun, supportive, loyal, selfless, generous person who was loved by all who knew her. Her life revolved around her family. She cherished her children and grandchildren and would drop any plan to see them, support them, or play with them. She loved family outings to the mountains, music, concerts, plays, collecting lighthouses, parks, parades and holiday celebrations. She was a talented cook and seamstress and loved finding a bargain. She loved trivia and playing games where everyone was the winner. She made every event special.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Dalice and Virginia Hill and her sister Juanita Munk.
She is survived by her husband and children; Vicki Heidt (Joseph), Leslie Clawson (Rick), Doug Hymas (ReNae), Deanna Billings (Eric), Stephanie Pickle (Mike) and her siblings Barbara Bigham, Roger Hill and Beverly Kellersberger.
