“He was a helluva man”
Dennis Larsen, age 61, passed away September 28, 2011 in Magna, Utah.
Dennis was born July 10, 1950 in Burley, Idaho to Charles Lyman and Evelyn Larsen. He graduated from the College of Southern Idaho. He married Judy Lynn Feltman on May 29, 1970. If you wanted to have fun, Dad was the one to call. But beware, you’re going to learn something or fix something while you’re doing it. You can’t find a man who was adored by more people – oh the funny stories. “YARD SALE” were his two favorite words. When not yard sale-ing, dad enjoyed fixing boats, camping, fishing, restoring old cars, and and singing "it's time to get up, it's time to get up, it's time to get up in the morning" at 7 am on Saturday. R.I.P. KSL.com – dad kept you in business. Obviously, these things were all done with, and instilled in family and friends. Of all the things dad liked to do, hanging out with family and friends was at the top of the list.
Dennis is survived by his dedicated wife, Judy Larsen, of 41 years; daughters, Shanna Sparks, Sonya (Shane) Pullan; six grandkids, and a new great grandbaby. Also, survived by his twin sister Denise (Art) Leyva of Elko NV; brother, Ronald Larsen of Elko NV; and too many extended family members to count.
Celebration of life services will be held Monday, October 3, 2011 at 10:00 am at Valley View Funeral Home, 4335 West 4100 South, West Valley City. In lieu of flowers, donations to Dennis Larsen at Zions Bank are appreciated.
There will be an open microphone, so be prepared to share your funny experiences!
