DeVerl Bingham Gunn

DeVerl was born in Hoytsville, Utah, to Frank Gunn and Elsie Bingham. He was a “rocket scientist.” He spent his career with Hercules and ATK where he was involved in the process of sending major rockets into space. DeVerl loved photography and being outdoors where he could capture landscapes and nature. He enjoyed building models and displaying them around his senior living center where he spent his final years. He was a major movie buff and was always up for watching a good show. He served faithfully throughout his life in his callings as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

He is preceded in death by his son, David, and his great-grandson, Nathan. He is survived by his wife, Nancy Reynard, and his children: Kenneth (Barbara), Brenda Chappell, Larry (Donna Katherine), Kristina Evans (Rodney), Timothy (Brook), and Randall (Sarah). He has 21 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, March 7, 2025 at 10:00am at Valley View Memorial Park and Funeral Home at 4335 W 4100 S, West Valley City, Utah 84120. The family will receive friends at 9:00am prior to the service.
