1941-2015
Dexter Val Moss, 73, passed away from heart failure on April 21, 2015 surrounded by his loved ones. He was born on July 5, 1941 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Royal and June Mann Moss. He attended Bountiful High School and later married Sharon Flitton on June 10, 1961 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Dexter will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather. He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing and supporting his children and grandchildren in all of their activities.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon; children, Valerie (Brad) Catten, Sandra (Mike) Mitchell. Mitch (Cindy) Moss; siblings, Sharon (Joe) Springer, Juliene (Dennis) Scott, Malia (John) Lewis; 6 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. He is preceded in death by his parents and infant daughter, Stormy Moss.
Graveside service for Dexter will be held on Friday, April 24, 2015 at 1:00 pm at the Valley View Memorial Park, 4400 West 4100 south, where friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the service.
