Dian Todd Harvey

Our sweet Wife, Mom, and Grandma, Dian Todd Harvey, age 70 lost her brave fight with cancer, on March 1, 2013 in Murray, UT. A Christmas baby, Dian was born December 25, 1942 in Salt Lake City, UT to Edgar L Todd & Cecilia D. Fuegi. She graduated from the Utah School for the Deaf. She married her sweetheart H. Bruce Harvey on July 2, 1963 in the Salt Lake City Temple for time and all eternity, passing just before celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary.

Dian loved her family unconditionally and loved to be with them. She enjoyed long talks, playing games, reading, doing puzzles and attending musicals. She was an active member of the LDS Church, where she held numerous positions including: stake missionary and Relief Society President. She loved to teach the gospel in Relief Society and in Sunday School. Her lively personality and kind spirit will be missed by all who knew her.

Dian is survived by her husband, H. Bruce Harvey; her children, Todd (Sally) Harvey, Paul (Rachel) Harvey, Suzette Harvey, Jennifer Harvey Storrer, and Harold (Daniel’el) Harvey. She is also survived by her father Edgar L. Todd; sister, Ilene Lofgren; and 12 Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother Cecelia D. Todd.

Services will be held Wednesday March 6, 2013 at 11:00 am at the Salt Lake Valley 1st Ward (sign language) 760 E. 700 S. Salt Lake City. The family will receive friends at a visitation Tuesday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. at Valley View Funeral Home, 4335 W. 4100 S.; and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.
