I regret that I was out of town during Don's viewing and funeral but want to express to the family my respect and admiration.  I had the privilege of serving as Diane's physician for years and to experience Don's gentle and caring ways.  I considered the two of them to be exquisite people who dealt with life's challenges with courage and with all of their resources and yet found room to be of service to others..

I express to the family my condolences and at the same time join with you in a celebration of a life well lived.

Our hearts are very sad with the passing of a great man and friend. We have known Don for several years, but really got to know him when two of his grandsons joined our Scouting program. He was alway there to convey his appreciation and support of the program. His contagious smile and greeting will be missed. Our respect and sincere sympathy go out to the family and especially to our two Scouts, Max and Austin.

I can't believe that he is gone. Our street will never be the same without him sitting on his porch with that backward wave and smile. I cherish the times we  had with him and Diane. I will never forget the first time we met him and Diane, they pulled up the street and asked if they could be part of our family. That was it, I knew we had just met people that were going to be important to our lives. We were blessed to have him in our lives. I wish it could of been for longer, but we will cherish the time we had. My heart goes out to the Lopez family, He will forever be missed.

What a great guy Don was as a coach in Granger Little League as he helped many young boys grow into young men. I remember getting a snow cone after game as Coach Don said he would buy one for anyone getting the best block in the game.  Don was a dedicated coach and motivator, just a positive all around person. I'm grateful he was a part of my life at young age as I'm sure many others are too.

 I recall fishing with Don, Jay and my Dad at old strawberry, both Don and Jay being my football coach, they will be missed but not forgotten.

Linda, I'm so sorry to hear of Don's passing. Mom called to tell me about his obituary. It seems we just barely met and now he's gone on ahead. So sorry.

Darren, Tammy & Taunya im sorry for your loss. Your dad was a good man. My dad, jay & your dad had a special thing going during there coaching days. It was a blast. My heart goes out to you all.

To Darren.Carrie, Tammy, Ken, Taunya, Bill, Deanne, and all Don's grandklids, Our heart goes out to you for the loss of your dad and grandpa. He was a great husband, father, grandfather, son, brother,and friend to all who knew and loved him. I'm so grateful to have had him in my life as a brother. We were two years apart so we were compadres when we were growing up...I will treasure the memories I have of him and all our adventures we had in Park City and our happy times and trials as we have gone through life. We are grieving over your loss.  Uncle Don was always kind to us and a was wonderful person to be around. I pray God will bless you with strength and love during this time.

Linda and family, our sincerest condolences at the passing of Don. Watching Don work in the temple in spite of his medical challenges was a testament to his faith. Always kind, soft spoken and willing to serve. We will miss him.
