Donna Lang Salt

Donna Lang Salt, 82, devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter, sister and friend, passed away peacefully at home on September 5, 2010.

Donna was born September 17, 1927 to John Edward Lang and Ethel Hardman Lang. Donna married her sweetheart, and eternal companion, Richard Lowell Salt on December 18, 1945. They were the proud parents of five wonderful children. Donna was a devoted mother and homemaker. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, where she served faithfully for many years. Donna is survived by her dear husband, Dick; her children: Betty (Wally) Singleton, Bob (Auzeni) Salt, Dixie (Scott) Blackburn, Roger (Mindy) Salt and Randy (Cindy) Salt; 16 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; brothers, Ray (Jo) Lang and Delbert (Inga) Lang. Preceded in death by her parents; brother, Allen Lang and grandson, Jason Troy Singleton.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, September 11, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the Erda Ward Chapel, 203 East Erda Way. The family will receive friends at a viewing Friday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Valley View Funeral Home, 4335 West 4100 South, and one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the Erda Ward. Interment: Valley View Memorial Park.
