Duane Ray Hawker
March 3, 1956 – February 7, 2019
Duane Ray Hawker Sr. was born March 3, 1956 in Murray, Utah; the son of Leon Walter Hawker and Beverly Ann Hawker.
Duane attended Brighton High School, and graduated from Jordan High school. He was married to Phyllis Carney and had three children: Kristina, DJ, and Kelly Hawker, they later divorced. He married the love of his life Lori Cannon on May 30, 2002.
Our dad was a true outdoorsman, he loved being outside. He enjoyed camping, fishing and pretty much anything that had to do with the mountains. Our father would sit in his chair on his patio where birds would come to visit him. He would have his daughter buy peanuts so he could feed his friends, the blue jays. He was a kind and quiet man but he had the biggest heart! He will be missed deeply.
Preceded in death by his wife Lori, his parents, brother Robert Hawker, and nieces Tina Hawker, Lynette Hawker, Tessa Harrington.
Survived by his Children: Kristy (Scott) Rushton; Duane Hawker Jr.; Kelly (Tony) Romero; and Jordan Nielsen and 12 grandchildren. Also survived by his siblings: Steven (Clara) Hawker; Barbara (Jeff) Harrington; Craig (Brit) Hawker; Kyle Hawker and LeAnn Magera.

We were so sorry to hear of Duane’s passing. We appreciated the way he loved and cared for our sister Lori. We know his heart was broken when she passed away last year and now we can find some peace in knowing they are together again.

Duane was a wonderful husband to my sister Lori Cannon. He will be missed by his children and stepchild Jordan and all family members. Duane was fun to be around. He always had a story to tell. He will be missed by many.
