Duane L. Sorensen, age 63, passed away August 27, 2010 in Kearns, Utah.
Duane was born June 13, 1947 in Scipio, Utah to Boyd James Sorensen and Myrtle Olsen. He graduated from Millard High School. He married Judy Raye Weber on March 21, 1994 in Tooele, Utah. He was a member of the L.D.S. Church. Duane loved going camping, fishing and gardening. He loved his family and friends, and his fire pit. Duane is survived by his loving children, Kathy Sorensen and Jeffery J. Sorensen; siblings, Dorothy Smith, Leila Seely, Jay P. Sorensen, Garth L. Sorensen and Udell Sorensen; 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by his wife, Judy, and daughter, Tammy Sorensen.
Graveside Services will be held Friday, September 3, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Scipio Cemetery. The family will receive friends at a visitation Thursday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. at Valley View Funeral Home, 4335 West 4100 South.
