Earl Edgar Magby

June 8, 1941 ~ May 20, 2015

Earl E. Magby peacefully passed away in the early morning of May 20, 2015. His soul was guided to heaven by his youngest son Eric.

Earl was born June 8, 1941 to Loyd A. Magby and Evelyn Hause Magby in Geary Oklahoma. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1958 to 1962. He married the love of his life Nadine Johnson Magby on June 18, 1966.

Earl was a man of few words. He loved to tinker around the house doing all sorts of odd jobs. He was proud of attaining his pilot’s license and the adventures that he had with his family, like flying into a no fly zone. He loved telling storied about family vacations and the mischief his three sons would get into. He was so proud of the men they have become. His greatest joy was his grandkids.

He is survived by his wife Nadine, his two sons Scott (Lori), Douglas ( Trudy), his three adoring sisters, Ruth, Arlene, Lois and grandkids, Austin, Alisa, Kallie, Tasha, Alexis, Andrea, Shawn, JJ, Justin and one great grandson James. Preceded in death by his youngest son Eric, Mother, Father and one sister.

Graveside service will be Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. at Valley View Memorial Park, 4335 West 4100 South, West Valle City, Utah. A viewing will be one hour before at Valley View Funeral Home.
