Elliott Gregory Duffin

I was born on July 3, 1947 in Richfield, Utah, first child of Leland B. Duffin and Betty L. Worley. I graduated from Richfield High School in 1965. I joined the U.S Air Force in 1966 where I served 4 years, with one in year in Viet Nam.

I married Elisabeth A. Keller in 1977 in West Valley City, Utah. We had two children, Megan and Sean. I also had another daughter, Kimberly from my first marriage.

I loved just about all sports, both playing them and watching. I enjoyed playing golf, softball, fishing and hunting. I really loved going up to the most beautiful lake in Utah, Fish Lake. I also loved working in the yard and doing construction work. But my biggest love aside from my family was flying. Whenever I could go flying I was gone. I obtained my pilots license just out of the Air Force and flew often.

I went to work civil service at Hill AFB, UT, and retired there after twenty six years plus four years in the Air Force. I retired with many awards and achievements.

I had a great and wonderful life; one that many people never have a chance to have or even think of having. I have been in every state and seven foreign countries. I have met a lot of wonderful people in my travels, many of which I stay in contact with.

I passed away on Friday morning, April 28, 2017. I leave behind the best wife ever along with the best children anyone could ask for. I leave behind my very loving and caring mother, Betty Worley, (God bless her) my sister, Lisa Ann Duffin King. I have six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. I was preceded in death by father Leland Duffin, step father, Dr. William Worley, brother, Dr. Michael Duffin, step father, Dr. Michael Worley.

There will be a viewing held on Tuesday, May 2, 2017, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Valley View Funeral Home, 4335 West 4100 South, West Valley City, Utah. A second viewing will be held on Wednesday, May 3, 2017, from 12:00-1:00 p.m. at the Magelby Mortuary, 50 South 100 West, chfield, Utah. Graveside services will follow at the Richfield City Cemetery at 1:30 p.m.
