She was born January 30, 1940 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Melvin F. and Mary A. Mitchell. She attended American Fork Training School. She married Leonard Catten in the Salt Lake Temple, they are now together again.
Elsie was a happy person who loved everyone. If you asked her “how are you” she would say “21” to make people laugh. She liked to crochet, knit and tatting, made blankets for everyone. She was happy at Copper Ridge home. They took good care of her and will be missed by all.
She raised Ashley and Rory when they lost their mother Anna and also raised her grandson Ethan.
She is survived by her sisters Maria, Jean and Loretta.
