Emily Rebecca Nielsen

September 11, 2015 the world became a little less beautiful. Our family lost a daughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin and friend Emily Rebecca Nielsen. She will always be remembered for her loving personality and contagious laugh. She was a giver, beyond creative and always had a smile.

She was born November 4, 1990 in Salt Lake City, Utah to David and Rebecca Nielsen. She attended Bingham High School and U. S. U. She was a member of the LDS Church and enjoyed teaching Primary. Emily was employed with Mountain Land Physical Therapy as a clinic coordinator and was loved by many.

Through her selfless nature of kindness and compassion she chose to be a tissue donor to continue to bless the lives of others.

She loved outdoor activities, especially fishing in the dark. She loved crafting and being with her nieces and nephews. She will be loved and missed by all and will always be remembered in our hearts.

She is survived by her parents David and Rebecca Nielsen, her brothers Nick (Ilana) Matt (Candace), and Ty D., grandparents Ray and Kay Hunt and Eldon Nielsen.

Preceded in death by her Grandmother Karen Nielsen, her uncles Steven Hunt, Stewart Nielsen, and Daniel Nelsen.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 17, 2015 at 12:00 p.m. at the Glenmoor 3rd Ward, 9455 South 4800 West, South Jordan. A viewing will be held Wednesday, September 16th from 6-8:00 p.m. at the Valley View Funeral Home, 4335 West 4100 South, West Valley City and at the church from 10:30-11:30 prior to the service. Interment at Valley View Memorial Park.
