"Granny"

Eva Castillo, our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend has been reunited with husband Agapito on December 10, 2014.Born April 15, 1924 in Olathe, Colorado to Anselmo and Juana Matta. Married Agapito Castillo April 25, 1949. Mom was a kind and generous person always opening her home to all who came to call. She was a very talented homemaker known for her homemade apple pies, desserts and especially tortillas. Mom loved to entertain, when friends and family were in town Eva's house was where food and fun could be found. Mom we love and will miss you but know you are at peace with Dad. Survived by her four sons Phillip (Loretta), Ernest (Jennifer), Andrew (Melanie), Tony (Sandy); two daughters Francis (Jim) Fish, Vicky (Luis) Zaiter, 14 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. A Funeral mass will be celebrated Friday 11am at Saints Peter & Paul Catholic Church 3580 West 3650 South (Lancer Way). A Vigil Service will be held Thursday 7 p.m. at Neil O'Donnell l and Sons Mortuary 372 East 100 South, where friends may call 6 to 7 p.m. Committal Valley View Memorial Park 4335 West 4100 South.
