Forrest was married to Roberta Carlin, Linda Caul, and Shirley Caul, all of whom preceded him in death.
Forrest proudly served in the United States Navy for more than 26 years before being honorably discharged. He was very proud of his military service and wore his Navy hat every day.
Forrest had a few passions in life. He loved playing slot machines and he always won! Forrest spent thousands of hours on his obsession with football and baseball cards. He loved people, had a great sense of humor, and was always ready with a joke.
His beloved cat, Dillard, was his buddy who misses him dearly.
Forrest is survived by his children, Candy (Greg) Kerr, Forrest (TyAnn) Caul, and Niki (Corky) Powell; five grandchildren, Jeff Nay, Scott Durfey, Jordan Caul, Randon Kerr, and Amber Kerr; and four great-grandchildren.
A graveside service for Forrest will be held on Thursday, October 8, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. at Valley View Memorial Park, 4400 West 4100 South, West Valley City, Utah.
