

Glenda J. Laufer, 81, of Kearns, Utah died November 21, 2022 at the IHC Hospital in Murray, Utah. She was born November 20, 1941 in Kremmling, Colorado at Fred DeBeard’s Ranch, to her late parents Foster S. Wickham and Ethel B. (Pelser) Wickham.
She married the love of her life – Daniel B. Laufer April 29, 1961 and spent 61 years doing everything together.
She graduated from Ben Lomond High School in Ogden, Utah and was granted an Associate in Applied Science Degree with a major in Engineering Drafting and Design Technology from Utah Technical College.
She worked for the Granite School district for 35 years as a Teacher’s Aide giving some of the toughest kids the skills to be successful in life. She made a marked difference in so many people’s lives.
In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her brother Bryan Wickham and two sisters Sherrel Coy and Karen Sweet. Surviving in addition to her husband, daughter Dani Lynne Coleman (Adam), Son Gregory David Laufer (Annette), nine grandchildren – Brandy Norman (Danny), Alex Coleman (Mark), Lacey Laufer, Lauren Sperry (Brett), Lindee Wagstaff (Wes), Cauldan Laufer, Joshua Alvey (Kaylynn), Daniel Alvey, Zachary Alvey (Staci), Alisha Alvey (Royce), and 14 great grandchildren.
She enjoyed reading, solving word search puzzles and video poker, especially the ones that paid real jackpots. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She had an amazing skill in remembering the dates of all family events.
A graveside service of her remembrance will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, December 3, 2022 at the Valley View Memorial Park, 4335 W. 4100 S. West Valley City, Utah.
