

She married Roland Fielding Rowley on January 17, 1964, in the Salt Lake Temple.
A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, she enjoyed spending time with her family. She was well known for the elaborate birthday cakes that she would make for her children, nieces, and nephews. Some of her other talents included her baking skills and the various delicious treats she would make for friends and family. If there was a new baby or a wedding in the family she would create a lovely quilt for the occasion. She taught her children the importance of selfless service and was a great example of how to serve others. One of her greatest joys was being a Grandma to her seven grandchildren and her new Great Grandson, playing games, watching movies and having long visits with her at her house.
She served in various capacities in the church devoting much of her time and talents to Relief Society assignments. She served as Relief Society president, young women’s president, Junior Sunday school coordinator and visiting teacher coordinator over her lifetime. Glorus was an example of Christlike love and service.
She will be dearly missed by her family, friends and all who knew her. Survived by her children, Jill (John) Ferrier and Jason Rowley, her siblings Faunell Hirschi, Gayle (Linda) Rosenberg, Marilou (Allen) Linton; 7 grandchildren; and 1 great grandchild.
She is preceded in death by her husband Roland, her parents Delos and Verle, sister Gaylene Sims and brother in law Wayne Hirschi.
A family and friends viewing will be held on April 9, 2023 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Valley View Funeral Home 4335 W 4100 So West Valley City, UT
Funeral service will be April 10, 2023 at 12:00pm at the LDS Stake building at 3900 So 4000 W West Valley City, UT There will be an addition viewing from 11:00am to 11:45 prior to the funeral.
