Greg N Pay 1960-2014

Beloved husband, father and grandpa, Greg N Pay "Grandpa Overalls" passed away March 24, 2014 with his loving wife by his side. Greg was born July 27, 1960 to Neal A and Illa Jean Pay. He attended Provo High and graduated in 1979 (was supposed to be '78 but was too cool for school). He married Christine Bergeron, later divorced, and was blessed with 4 wonderful children and 6 amazing grandchildren. He met and married Jeannette Francis after a whirlwind romance and they have shared a wonderful life together for the past 11 years. Even though he grew up in the shadows of "Y"mountain, it wasn't too hard to convert him to a UTES fan. He knew what side his bread was buttered on. There wasn't anything he couldn't fix and took great pride in being one of the first mechanics of the UTA TRAX trains. He retired from UTA in 2011. He is survived by his wife, mother and children, Grant (Rachael) , Ashley , Whitney, and Taylor Pay plus his grandchildren who are his pride and joy, Alaina, Jordan, Olivia, Rihanna, Mason, and Carson. He is also survived by his siblings, many nieces, nephews and in laws who all loved him dearly. A celebration of his life will be held Saturday, March 29 from 11:00-12:45 at Valley View Funeral Home (4335 W. 4100 S.) at which time the family will receive visitors. A graveside service will immediately follow for family and close friends. Interment will be in Valley View Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Primary Children’s Hospital or a charity of your choice.

I love you Dad, and I'm never going to forget how much you loved me or how proud I am to have been your son.

He always had an interesting story to tell, and he made interesting food combinations. He had great dating advice for the teens. What I will remember most was how much he loved Jeannette. It's not goodbye but until we meet again. Jeri
