Holly is a quiet, gentle, patient, pure in heart and a loving person. All who know her talk about her calm and genuinely loving personality. She was always most happy serving others in small and large ways. She leaves behind a legacy of service which very much mirrors that of our savior, Jesus Christ. She loved to sew and made many things for her family and those around her. She loves the color purple and a little pink. She loves gardening with flowers and vegetables. She loves music and playing her baby grand piano she received as an anniversary gift. She loves the Victorian era and all of the intricate details therewith. She loves floral patterns and loved collecting them on dishes.
She avidly studied the Gospel of Jesus Christ and found great joy in the words of the scriptures and its teachings. She always had curated piles of magazines, quotes, scriptures and books she was actively studying. She loved family history work and serving in the temple as a matron and a worker. She loves her family and especially her 11 grandkids. Mom wasn’t extravagant but you knew she loved you in the small little ways she showed it. She would fix a small bowl of marshmallows or goldfish for her grandkids, make a special trip to the store to get one thing for someone else, and insisted on doing everyones laundry rather they wanted her to or not. She also liked to give little knick knacks and making sure she gave you a hug.
Holly will be deeply missed by all who know her. We take comfort in knowing she will be with us for eternity and will see her again.
