Ilean P Peterson

Devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, age 92, passed away with loving care at the Beehive Homes of Draper, UT on May 5, 2015.

Ilean was born in Price, UT on March 30, 1923 to Sheridan Ray Powell and Jessie Fay (Barker) she married Daniel R. Peterson April 28, 1947 in Price, UT, later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.

Ilean enjoyed taking care of her extensive family, and was an Avon lady for 23 years. She kept busy managing apartments built by Daniel who passed away September 1999.

She is survived by her three children Lana (Fred) Gruendell, Debby (Blair) Goates, and Blaine Peterson, 21 grandchildren, and 29 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 9 at 12:00 noon at Valley View Memorial Funeral Home, 4335 West 4100 South, West Valley City, UT 84120. Family will receive friends from 10:30-12:00 noon prior to the service. Ilean will be interred at the Valley View Memorial Park next to her husband.
