

J. Guadalupe Armenta Ledesma, 68, of West Valley City, Utah passed away January 24, 2017. He was born June 21, 1948 in La Angostura, Guanajuato, Mexico to Donaciano Ledesma and Maria Jesus Armenta. He married Ramona Cisneros Ledesma on November 18, 1972 in La Magdalena, Guanajuato, Mexico.
J. Guadalupe and Ramona brought their family to the United Stated in 1988 to give them a better life. He was a kind hearted man that always put others before himself. He was a hardworking man who always provided for his family, installing a hard work ethic in his children, which they are forever thankful. He always had a passion for the sport of baseball. His family remembers him always sitting in his favorite spot on the couch watching whichever team was playing. His favorite hobby was playing cards with his friends and taking little trips to Wendover, and boy was he good at gambling! He was a funny and happy person. He loved to have all his grandchildren over to his house to play in his yard; it gave him great joy to see them running around having fun. He has traveled all over the States for work.
His family misses him so much and hopes that he is in a better place, even though they are hurting, they know he is in heaven watching over them. His family loves him so much and will forever hold him in their hearts. Te queremos mucho viejo chulo!!
J. Guadalupe is survived by his wife, Ramona Ledesma; children, Noe (Guadalupe) Ledesma, Hector Ledesma, Maria Jesus Ledesma, Hugo Ledesma and Sophia Ledesma; siblings, Isabel, Eva, Maria, Maria Luisa, Benito, and Francisco Ledesma; and 12 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Donaciano Ledesma and Maria Jesus Armenta.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 30, 2017 at 11:00 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 4501 W. 5215 S., Kearns, UT. A viewing will be held on Sunday, January 29, 2017 from 5:00-7:00 at Valley View Funeral Home, 4335 W. 4100 S., West Valley City, UT, and from 9:00-10:00 on Monday at the funeral home. Interment will take place at Valley View Memorial Park, 4400 W. 4100 S. West Valley City, UT.

Se casó con Ramona Cisneros Ledesma el 18 de noviembre de 1972 en La Magdalena, Guanajuato, México.
J. Guadalupe y Ramona trajeron a su familia a Estados Unidos en 1988 para darles una vida mejor. Era un hombre bondadoso que siempre ponía a otros delante de sí mismo. Era un hombre trabajador que siempre proveía a su familia, instalando una ética de trabajo duro en sus hijos, que siempre agradecen. Siempre tuvo una pasión por el deporte del béisbol. Su familia lo recuerda siempre sentado en su lugar favorito en el sofá viendo cualquier equipo estaba jugando. Su pasatiempo favorito era jugar a las cartas con sus amigos y hacer pequeños viajes a Wendover, y el señor era bueno en el juego! Era una persona divertida y feliz. Le encantaba tener a todos sus nietos en su casa para jugar en su patio; Le dio una gran alegría verlos correr por ahí divirtiéndose. Avia viajado por los Estados Unidos para trabajar.
Su familia le echa mucho de menos y espera que esté en un lugar mejor, a pesar de que están sufriendo. Sabemos que está en el cielo velando por ellos. Su familia lo ama tanto y lo tendrá para siempre en sus corazones. Te queremos mucho viejo chulo!!
J. Guadalupe es sobrevivido por su esposa, Ramona Ledesma; Sus niños, Noé (Guadalupe) Ledesma, Héctor Ledesma, María Jesús Ledesma, Hugo Ledesma y Sophia Ledesma; Hermanos, Isabel, Eva, María, María Luisa, Benito y Francisco Ledesma; Y 12 nietos.
Fue precedido en la muerte por sus padres, Donaciano Ledesma y María Jesús Armenta.
Los servicios funerarios se llevarán a cabo el lunes 30 de enero de 2017 a las 11:00 en la Iglesia Católica St. Francis Xavier, 4501 W. 5215 S., Kearns, UT.
