Jacqueline L. Gustus

Jacqueline L. Gustus (Nana Gus), age 88, passed away May 27, 2013 in West Valley City, Utah.

She was born February 3, 1925 in DeKalb, Missouri to Alta Fern Thomas and William H. Girard. She married Robert G. Gustus on October 21, 1950 in Denver, Colorado. Jacqueline was an avid bingo player, she did cross-stitching, attended her grandchildren’s activities and sports activities. She also enjoyed traveling; she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. We Love You Mom, Nana, Nana Gus. We will miss the unconditional love you gave all of your family and friends. You are always “The Wind Beneath Our Wings”.

Jacqueline is survived by her children, Tami Jent, Cheri Jahn and Micki and Gene Burgener; grandchildren, Chris, Kim, Katie, Kendrick, Kelli, Michael, Becky, Brandy, B.J. and Daniel; great grandchildren, Jordan, Jayden, Tyler, Sydney, Emma, Logan, Kaleb, Stone, Greyson, Brayden, Ashlie, Kylee, Coleton, Harper, Taylor, Connor, Nyomi, Alyx and Dayvid, and great-great grandchild, Waylon. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert (Gus) Gustus, and son-in-law, Bob Jent.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, May 31, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Valley View Funeral Home, 4335 W. 4100 So. The family will receive friends at a visitation from 12:45 until 1:45 p.m. prior to the service at Valley View Funeral Home. Interment: Valley View Memorial Park.
