

It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jalon M. Taylor, who left this world far too soon on July 27, 2025, at the age of 23. Born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah, Jaylon brought light, warmth, and unwavering love to everyone who had the honor of knowing him.
Jalon was a devoted son to Rochelle Taylor, Nichiren Taylor, and stepfather David Kaykeo. He was a beloved brother to Antwon Taylor and Dimitri Saliba, and a cherished grandson of Lucy and Tony Saliba. He is also survived by his loving aunts Jenny Saliba and Kristen Allred and is now watching over us with his late uncle Tony Saliba, He has many cousins and extended family members who adored him and will deeply miss him.
Jalon worked for many years at Firetrol Protection Systems, where he took great pride in his work and was respected by all who worked alongside him. He was a natural, loving soul, who was hardworking, humble, and deeply devoted to his family. Jalon had a unique ability to make people feel welcomed and valued. He was the kind of person who would give without hesitation and love without condition.
His presence lit up every room, and his legacy will live on through the countless lives he touched with his kindness, loyalty, and compassion.
A viewing to honor and celebrate Jalon’s life will be held on Monday, August 11, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Valley View Memorial Park and Funeral Home, located at 4335 W 4100 S, West Valley City, UT 84120.
Jalon’s family deeply appreciates the outpouring of love, support, and prayers during this incredibly difficult time.
