Jamie Gardner

1978 ~ 2010

Jamie Gardner, age 31, passed away March 3, 2010 in West Valley City, Utah. She was born May 4, 1978 in Bountiful, Utah to Bob and Cammy Miklovik Gardner. She graduated from Hunter High in 1996.

Jamie always loved children and was involved in the child development class at Hunter High. After graduating, she began working in the child care field, and did so for many years. The loves of her life are her two children, Kyllie and James. As a single mom, Jamie always wanted the best for her family. She loved music and movies, and talking or texting on her cell phone. She loved to laugh and have fun with family and friends, and always had a smile.

Jamie is survived by her loving children, Kyllie and James; brother, Justin (Stephanie); niece, Sophie; nephews, Lewis, Raleigh and Spencer; 3 uncles and 4 cousins. Preceded in death by brothers, Jason and Jarrod; grandparents, LaMar and Alice Gardner, John and LaRue Miklovik.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made on behalf of Kyllie and James at any Cyprus Credit Union under the name of Jamie Gardner.

Funeral Services for Jamie will be held Saturday, March 6, 2010 at 12:00 noon at the Ridgeland Ward Chapel, 4251 South 4800 West. The family will receive friends at a visitation Friday evening at the Church from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., and one hour prior to the service on Saturday. Interment: Valley View Memorial Park.
