She was born on April 21, 1979, the third child of Gary Porter and Janet Lee Weeter. She was always a happy child and grew up to be a kind, loving woman. She loved haunted houses, Maleficent, Edgar Allen Poe, Jack Skellington, her Harley, and her two sweet cats, Marcus and Abby. She spent many years in the drama program at her high school and participated in several different plays. She loved volunteering for the Hale Center Theater. She also played the flute throughout her school years. Accompanied by family and friends, she took out her endowments in the Salt Lake Temple on January 2, 2014.
Through her struggles, she remained positive and was a bright light to all who knew her. She was an amazing daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. She is survived by her parents, Gary Porter and Janet Lee Weeter, siblings: Kodelle (Damian) Dunkley, Megan Weeter, and Tyrel (Jaime) Weeter, nieces and nephew: Katelyn, Isabella, Juliet, Tabitha, and Annabeth Dunkley, and Jarrett and Olivia (due in June 2014) Weeter. A very special thank you to Alisha Kimmerle and Jane Defa for their friendship during this difficult time. We love you, Janelle!
