Jason David Wilding returned to his heavenly home on Tuesday May 22nd 2012 at age 33 after his courageous battle with a brain tumor. He passed away at his home in West Jordan, Utah surrounded by his family and friends. He was born Jan. 5th 1979 in Rexburg Idaho, as the oldest of five and only son to Kenneth and Beverly Wilding. He served an LDS mission to Guam. He married Larissa Arnold on May 9th 2003 in the Salt Lake Temple. He knew she was the one when she survived his family’s annual camping trip which was only their third date. Besides camping with his family he loved spending time on his grandparent’s farm in Idaho. He enjoyed golfing with his dad but his favorite pastime was playing basketball. Jason was an avid BYU football fan and was thrilled to meet the team last fall. His children loved to wrestle with their daddy. His positive attitude with the challenges he faced has been an inspiration to all who knew him.
Jason is survived by his wife, children: Cloie (7), Carter (5), Hunter (2); his parents; sisters: Rebecca (Bryan), Lisa (Brandon), Rachel (Michael), Tara (Matthew); Grandmothers Janice Wilding and Phyllis Leatham Hall.
The family will always be grateful to his caregivers, family, friends and ward members who helped him during these difficult times and also all those who have been a part of his life.
