Our loving Dad, Brother, Grandpa, and Great-Grandpa, passed away peacefully on May 15, 2013. Born Dec. 9, 1932 to Newton Sipes and Mary Caroline Parsons. Jasper married Dorothy Kelley on May 26, 1954 and together they had a son, Terrel. He was preceded in death by his wife.
Jasper proudly served in the United States Air Force from Dec. 27, 1950 to Dec. 15, 1954 when he was then honorably discharged as Airman First Class. Jasper has three grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Jasper touched the lives of all who knew him. All we spoke to just loved him and his “flashlights”.
Dad, you have been such a large part of our lives and you have left an emptiness in our hearts and lives that is indescribable. We love you and will miss you with all of our hearts. Rest peacefully and give Mom a hug from us all.
Graveside Services for Jasper will be held Saturday, May 18, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Valley View Memorial Park, 4400 W. 4100 S.
