

Jeanette Case Fryer passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, August 9th, 2017. Jeanette was born on October 18th, 1962, in Salt Lake City, Utah to Ernest Arzell Case and Frances Peterson Case. She was the youngest of five children; her siblings include, Jim Case, Sue Roberts, Jeff Case, and Ted Case. She married Todd Curtis in 1983, and had two sons, Matthew Todd Curtis and Wesley Keith Curtis. She later married Brent Fryer in 1990, and had a third son, Travis Rex Fryer. Matt, Wes, and Travis were a welcomed addition to Brent’s beloved children, Heather, Cory, Jason, Christopher, and Benjamin. Jeanette was promoted from mother to grandmother with Heather Miller’s children, Kayla, Cammy, Krystian and Zack; Jason, and Liz’s children, Nicholas, Abram, and Troy; Cory and Rachel’s children, Taylor, Nathan, Jacob, Christopher, and Bebe; and Wesley and Cassie Curtis’ children, Alexander and Abigail. She is also a great-grandmother to Kayla’s children, Kaydence and Kooper; as well as Cammy’s child, Charlie.
Being a mother came naturally to Jeanette and anyone who has met her knows how much she loved her children and grandchildren. She loved to crochet, needle point and craft. When she wasn’t working and crafting, she would spend her days with her best friend Stef Yorgason. She was preceded in death by both of her parents and her nephew, Rick Roberts.
Viewing to celebrate Jeanette Case Fryer’s life will be held Tuesday, August 15th from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Valley View Memorial Home. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday August 16th, 2017, at Valley View Memorial Home, 4335 West 4100 South. Friends and family may call at the Valley View Funeral home from 10:00 a.m. to 10:50 a.m. for a viewing.
