

Jeffrey Lynn Nordgren, son of Kent Widsoe Nordgren and Eliza Helen Schmuhl, unexpectedly
passed away on December 3, 2020. Jeff grew up in a big family of 9 kids. As second oldest, he
loved to torment his 3 sisters and 5 brothers. He loved baseball and played throughout his high
school years at Cottonwood High. After graduation he served a 2 year mission for the Church of
Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Northern Italy. After returning home, he met and married
Judy Kay Larsen on June16,1976 and was later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple. Together, they
quickly started their family, welcoming 6 kids. He could always be found supporting all of their
many sports activities. He loved computers and was skilled at his career of computer
programming and worked many years for his brother at FlexSim. He enjoyed serving in many
different church callings throughout his life. In his free time he enjoyed fishing, camping and
hunting and was a die-hard fan of the BYU Cougars.
Jeff is survived by his wife, Judy and children, Jake(BreAnna) Nordgren, Brian(Valerie)
Nordgren, Brad(Kami) Nordgren, Hilary(Trevor) Georgell, Todd(Dasha) Nordgren, and
Melissa(Rex) Kemp; 17 grandchildren who he loved very much; and his furry sidekick, Bud. He
is also survived by his siblings, Roger, Greg, Barry, Kathy, Bill, Doug, Becky, and Cindy.
He is preceded in death by his parents; grandsons, Landon and Luke; and his Daughter-in-law,
Tiffany Nordgren.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday December 8, 2020 at 1:00 PM at Valley View Memorial Park, 4400 West 4100 South, where family and close friends may call from 11:00 AM until 12:45 prior to the services.
