Jerald was born at home on June 15th, 1932 to Alta Maria Angell Robison and Rulon Albert Robison in Scipio, Utah.
A graduate of Millard High School, Jerald joined the Navy in July of 1950. He was proud to serve aboard the USS Bexar (APA-237) during the Korean War.
He married Loretta Young Woolsey in February 1962 whom he loved very much and raised three daughters and two sons together.
After his military service he worked as a barber, a job that he loved immensely because he was a people person. Unfortunately, he needed to move to construction work to support his growing family, but in his heart he was always a barber.
He had always taken great pride in being from the small town of Scipio, Utah and went back to visit whenever he could.
In his younger years, Jerald loved hunting, fishing, and camping. In his later years, he loved spending time with his grandchildren and his dogs. He also enjoyed feeding and watching the birds in his backyard and visiting with neighbors.
He will be greatly missed and was loved deeply by his family and everyone who knew him.
Jerald is survived by his wife, Loretta; his children, Heidi (Rocky), Melody (Clint), Lisa, Jerald Jr. and Russell (Kathi); and his 12 grandchildren; sister-in-law, Karen Colbert; brother-in-law, Raymond (Claire) Woolsey; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his siblings, Keith, Lola, and Beth; his sister-in-law, Willadean Noe; and brother-in-law, David Colbert Sr.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, April 11th, 2026 at 11am at Valley View Memorial Park, 4400 West 4100 South, in West Valley City, Utah, 84120.
