Jimmie Ray Hughes

1959-2015

Jimmie Ray Hughes, Jr., 55, called home to his Heavenly Father on January 15, 2015 in Salt Lake City, Utah after losing a courageous battle with cancer. He was born on February 5, 1959 in Charleston, South Carolina to Jimmie Ray and Bobbie Pardue Hughes.

Jimmie was an employee for Parker Hannifin for over 30 years. His coworkers and friends knew him well and always got a smile and a good morning from him whether it snowed, rained, sunshine, or no sunshine, to him every day was a good day.

Jimmie loved the outdoors where he could enjoy what made a great day such as: fishing, shooting and riding his motorcycle. Jimmie was a friend to all. For now Jimmie you can rest and be at peace doing what you wanted to do most.

A memorial and lite lunch for Jimmie will be held on Tuesday, January 27, 2015 from 12-2:00 pm at Valley View Funeral Home, 4335 West 4100 South, West Valley City, Utah
