Later they would serve together as ordinance workers in the Jordan River temple. JoAnn enjoyed singing, playing piano, writing poetry and spending time with her family, where she was always an example of Christ-like love and service to anyone in need. She was a faithful friend to those she grew up with and always kept in touch, and cherished her association with them.

Preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister and brothers-in-law, LaNae and Elmo Anderson, Mont and Shirley Moss, Jack and Elaine Lewellyn and great grandson Aabel Herrera.
